The data set contains data collected from field experiments conducted at Teagasc Oak Park, Carlow, Republic of Ireland (Eire) Latitude 52o51’ N, Longitude 6o55’W between 2012 and 2013. The objective of the experiments was to investigate the sensitivity of grain weight of barley to variations in incident solar radiation during early grain filling. It is being made public to support the publication and to allow other researchers to utilize the data in their own studies. The research was funded by a Teagasc Walsh Fellowship to Shane Kennedy from 2011 to 2013.
