This repository contains the 'factorHunt()' I have written to facilitate the quantitative part of the analysis in Q methodology studies. It is checked/updated usually 1x per year, aligned with teaching activities related to Q.

This function was written to facilitate the quantitative part of Q methodology analyses. It does not perform novel analysis of Q method data. Instead, it automates and standardises the exporting of results objects as generated by the 'qmethod()' function within the 'qmethod' package in R, thereby enabling more time to be spent exploring the qualitative significance of different factor solutions.

It was written originally to support MSc students with limited experience working in R to analyse Q methodology data in a time efficient and transparent way.

A specific version has been made formally available upon request via the Bitbucket repository linked to this record. It will be updated there going forwards.
